Children at LAC learn the characteristics of God from creative Bible lessons most relevant to their everyday needs and learning experiences.
Sunday School- 9:15 AMClasses taught by loving and gifted teachers are provided for each age from pre-k through 5th grade.
Time With Abba - 10:30 AM Time with Abba is our Children’s Worship. Children age 4 through 5th grade read scripture, learn how to pray scripture and learn to listen and hear what God is saying to them.
Vacation Bible School: during the Summer LAC hosts a Vacation Bible School for ages K – 5th grade, VBS provides a Bible adventure that takes kids deeper into their faith. Each year there is a new and exciting theme that includes Music, Games, Bible stories, Crafts and delicious snacks.
Operation Christmas Child: Every year we fill hundreds of boxes to help bring hope and happiness to children around the world one shoe box at the time. They are distributed by www.samaritanspurse.org

At the end of Sunday School all children are dismissed from the TreeHouse (children age 4 through 2nd grade must have a parent pick them up). After worshiping with the adults in the 10:30 am Sunday Celebration, children age 4 through 5th grade are dismissed to the Fellowship Hall for Time with Abba.

MVP’s (Most Valuable pray-ers) & GAP’s (God’s Awesome Pray-ers):
Children learning about prayer, how to listen and respond to God’s voice.
Meet once a month, in the prayer room during our Worship Celebration,
Children are learning to listen and respond to God’s voice.
Awana Clubs - 6-8PM Wednesday is Family Night at LAC. Beginning at 5PM a child friendly supper is offered in the Fellowship Hall for a nominal fee. At 6PM the children’s Praise Choir practices in the Sanctuary while the preschool chorus meets in room S101 just off the Main Sanctuary
Children leave their choir time at 6:40 and go with their Awana Club leader to the Tree House where they have Bible exploration and award activities. They also enjoy spirited games. At 8PM they are united with the adults and their parents at the River downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.
Other Fun Activities through the year:
Children’s Mission Festival: is an action packed week where kids meet real Missionaries from all over the world and learn to share their own faith with others.
